Chairman and Co-Founder
is the Founder and Senior Managing Partner of Pittsburgh based Nagel & Associates, LLC. For 27 years Joel’s practice area has been International Business Law. His legal and business experience spans 41 countries with significant work experience in Belize. He is a Fulbright Scholar and attended the Rheinische-Friedrich Wilhelms University in Bonn, Germany and The Hague Academy of International Law in The Hague, Netherlands. Joel holds degrees from Allegheny College in Pennsylvania, West Virginia University and Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C.
Director and Co-Founder
is the Chief Executive Officer of ECI Development, Ltd., a large Central American development company constructing mixed use community-oriented neighborhoods throughout the region. At the height of a successful career in the computer industry, Mike left to pursue more pioneering opportunities in the emerging real estate markets of Central America. With a strong focus on consumer need, he accurately predicted the growing need for high quality, residential product for North American Baby Boomer retirees in the region. Mike is a graduate of Allegheny College in Pennsylvania.
President Emeritus
after retiring from Anglo Irish Bank (Austria) as Senior Vice President and a Senior Member of the Management and Investment Committee, Peter joined Caye International Bank. as President in 2006. Peter graduated from the Geographic Institute in Vienna, Austria, with a degree in Geography and Cartography. Immediately after he attended the Austrian National Military Academy, he served in active duty with the United Nations Peace Keeping Troops during the conflict in Cyprus. He retired from the military with honours as an officer – infantry.
Non-Executive Director
is the President and CEO of the David Drye Companies. DDC is a regional construction and management company with a concentration in multifamily assets. He has successfully placed financing in excess of $800,000,000 for permanent and construction loans of multi-family and hotel properties since 1998. He also owns and operates Lamborghini Carolinas, an authorized Lamborghini franchise and Carolina AutoSports, and independent sales and service dealership. Eddie is a graduate of Montreat Anderson College in North Carolina.
Non-Executive Director
is a graduate of Rutgers Medical School in Newark, New Jersey. He attended Stevens Institute of Technology for his undergraduate studies in Chemistry and graduated with a Bachelors in Science. He did his residency at Monmouth Medical Center, Department of OB/GYN in Long Branch, New Jersey. He has several private practices in: West Long Branch, Middletown and Lakewood, New Jersey where he has been practicing for almost four decades. He joined Caye International Bank in Belize as a Non-Executive Director in mid-2019.
Director Emeritus
founded HD Russell and Associates in Charlotte, North Carolina which is a distributor of trucks and waste handling equipment, as well as Carolina Waste Systems, Inc., a waste service company. Doug first began his banking career in 1981 and served First Union National Bank as a City Advisory Director. In 1992 he served South Trust Bank as a State Director. When Wachovia acquired South Trust, he served on the local Wachovia Board of Directors. In 2005 Doug was a founding member of New Dominion Bank in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA.
